Description   Indianised version of the French Toast. Ideal for children.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • oil for frying

Method

  • Beat the eggs well
  • Add the milk and all the dry masala powders and beat again.
  • Heat some oil on a non stick pan.
  • Dip the bread slices in the egg and milk mixture and fry them till they are well done on both sides
