Description A spicy and delicious lamb preparation

Ingredients

For the marinade

1 kg lamb chops

1 tsp turmeric powder

1tsp coriander powder

3 tsp chilli powder

1/2 tsp jeera powder

2 tbsps ginger garlic paste

salt to taste

For frying

2tbsp oil

1 cup chopped onions

3 green chillies

1 inch piece cinnamon

2 cloves

2 pods cardamon

a pinch of saffron

Method

  1. Marinate the lamb chops with all the ingredients for at least 5-6 hours
  2. Put the chops in a wide pan and cook till they become soft
  3. Remove from the pan
  4. Heat oil in the pan and fry the dry garam masala
  5. Add onions and cook till they brown
  6. Add the green chillies and saute
  7. Add the saffron and the cooked chops to the masala and cook till the chops brown nicely on both sides and all the water is absorbed
