Ingredients

  1. 2 cups chopped tomatoes
  2. 1/2 cup chopped onions
  3. 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  4. 2 teaspoons chilli powder
  5. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  6. 1 teaspoon roasted sesame seed powder
  7. 2 tablespoons oil
  8. salt to taste
  9. a few curry leaves
  10. coriander leaves for garnishing

 

Method of Preparation

 

  1. Heat the oil in a kadai. 
  2. Add the mustard seeds. When they begin to splutter add the curry leaves. 
  3. Add onions and saute till they are lightly browned. 
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and cook till the tomatoes are well done. 
  5. Add the sesame seed powder. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
